Comet Boattini (C/2007W1) June 28, 2008 by John Drummond
Submitted by AstroPhoto Insight on Sun, 06/29/2008 - 14:42.

16" (41cm) @ f5.2 Meade Newtonian and an SBIG STL11000M CCD.
One minute sublights - 16 x lum (1x1), 8 x rgb (2x2), camera set to -30*C. Median combined it to help bring out the ion tail, but the stars are almost gone.
North = down, East = right. FOV = ~0.9d x 0.6d - the tail is a little over 0.5 degrees in length. Slight moonlight/twilight interference.
